Welcome to the Town Clerk’s Office
The Town Clerk’s Office is often the first stop for residents seeking information and provides many services to assist the public. We are available Monday-Friday 8:30am to 4pm. The Town Clerk’s Office issues Disabled Parking Permits, Solicitor/Peddler Permits, dog licenses as required by New York State, marriage licenses, birth and death certificates, Certificates of Residency, hunting and fishing licenses per NYS DEC regulations, bingo/games of chance/bell jar permits and public notary services.
The Town Clerk is also the Tax Collector and collects Town and County taxes from January 1st thru March 31st.
The Town Clerk is the administrator of all the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests as well as the Records Management Officer for the Town.
The Town Clerk’s Office issues Marriage Licenses by appointment between 9am and 3pm. Please call 518-235-8282 to make your appointment.
